Restored Dresser

Bringing old furniture back to life brings great satisfaction. This piece spent time in a barn for several years and was pulled out to be brought back to life.
There were many repairs on the drawers needed. The laminated decorative fronts were in rough shape and carefully removed. I was able to salvage a couple full pieces to use as patterns and milled up new pieces out of some sapele wood.
Chose a red mahogany stain and will be applying several coats of finish.
Willl be putting finishing touch with some old hardware pulls.

Brn Door Order

Today we got all the frames completed and are ready for sanding and applying panels. Sanding and staining are next.

New Doors

Working on some custom built barn doors. Glue up frames and panels this weekend. Micro-bevel all edges and using #20 wood biscuits on the panel glue up.

Barn Doors Finished

Well it is always bittersweet to get to the completion of a fun project. We are in the final punch list on our project. The doors went up well and added much character to the room. Thanks for following and checking in.
